Two news posts this month...
Microsoft To Release Messenger for MAC
Yes there are some MAC users who like Messenger. Unfortunately, the current Messenger for Mac 7 is woefully out of date compared to the PC version. Late in March, however, Microsoft promises a new Messenger (in beta) for MACs that have most of the features we PC users take for granted. Look for audio/visual conferencing, webcam and audio support.
Check Out SkyDrive
One of the coolest and least publicized web apps in the Windows Live galaxy is called SkyDrive. It's a free, 25-gigabyte virtual hard drive on the Internet, accessible from any computer. It can serve as an intermediate parking place for files you want to shuttle from one computer to another. You can also use it for offsite backup of your most important files, or as a handy intermediary for sharing big folders with other people far away.
The key point is that you can pull the SkyDrive onto any computer's screen--Mac, Windows, whatever--at your office, at your home, at your friend's house, so you don't need to carry around a physical disk to transport files. Comments
